The Edgecore 025GTR3B is a high-performance Top-of-Rack (TOR) switch designed for data centers. It features a compact 1RU form factor and provides line-rate L2 and L3 switching across 48 SFP28 ports and 8 QSFP28 ports. Each QSFP28 port can be configured as 4 x 25 GbE, 1 x 40 GbE, or 4 x 10 GbE using DAC breakout cables. This open network switch is equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), which supports the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) software, including both open source and commercial NOS options. Depending on the installed operating system, the Edgecore DCS203 can be deployed as a TOR switch supporting 10/25 GbE connections to servers with 40/100 GbE uplinks.
